Pouilly-Fuissé “Beau Regard”
Grape variety and terroir
Our parcels are located on the commune of Fuissé, a place called Beauregard, in the heart of the prestigious Southern Burgundy appellation. The clay-limestone soil and southeastern exposure express here all the finesse and complexity of a great Chardonnay.
Vinification and ageing
The grapes are picked and sorted by hand. Grape pressing on pneumatic wine press, gentle settling to eliminate gross lees. The juices are fermented in oak barrels, a regular stirring brings roundness and aromatic intensity. The malolactic fermentation is carried out at 100%. Bottling in June following the harvest.
