OUR WINE ESTATE
The privileged location of our Estate in SAINT-AMOUR-BELLEVUE, in the north of Beaujolais and in the south of Burgundy, allows us to produce a wide range of red and white wines from soils and terroirs that give our cuvee all their character:
SAINT-AMOUR, JULIENAS, MOULIN A VENT with the GAMAY grape variety
POUILLY-FUISSE, BOURGOGNE BLANC, CREMANT DE BOURGOGNE with the CHARDONNAY grape variety
The wines of our Estate convey above all values of sincerity, generosity and friendliness. Each day of work, each gesture is an individual and family quest to become better and offer you quality wines.
Our family history in Saint-Amour begins in 1919 with the union of Madeleine and François SPAY who will give birth to a beautiful family of twelve children, including Paul, founder of the Domaine de la Cave Lamartine with his wife Bernadette in 1965.
Our house belonged to the family of the famous poet and politician of the Mâconnais.
Paul Spay is illustrated by the fame of his Saint-Amour “Towards the Church”. Mayor for 31 years, he works ardently and dynamically to develop his wine estate and the prestige of Saint-Amour-Bellevue. Christophe Spay joined the family estate in 1995 and Rachel Hamet-Spay in 2005. With the arrival of the two children, the family estate now has 18 hectares of vines
